SYNTHETIC GRAPHITE POWDER

A high purity grade of artificial graphite milled to 300 mesh or 53 microns having a minimum carbon content of 99%.  Having being derived from virgin graphite electodes, it does possess excellent properties in respect of heat and electrical conductivity.

The main applications are in friction materials, diamond tools, energy materials, powder metallurgy, electrical components and carbon brushes.  Also to produce structures or components when mixed with epoxy resin.

Please note that graphite powder is extremely black and can easily contaminate hands, clothing and the surrounding area.  Prolonged exposure should involve the use of a face mask as airborne dust may cause irritation to the eyes, nose and upper respiratory tract.  Spillage on floors and stairways may present a safety hazard.  MSDS sheets are avaailable upon request.
