NATURAL GRAPHITE POWDER
A silvery black, dry and free flowing powder of natural crystalline vein graphite from Sri Lanka. The carbon content is a minimum of 80% and the graphite has been milled to a particle grading of 75 microns or 200 mesh. This grade of natural graphite is highly suitable for most general lubrication purposes and as a release agent.
Graphite powder is used in many applications including refractories, powder metallurgy, coatings, pencils, gaskets, lubrication, friction materials and advanced polymer systems. Also used by artists, blacksmiths for burnishing metal, iron foundries as plumbago, steam and traction engines, etc.
Please note that graphite powder is extremely black and can easily contaminate hands, clothing and the surrounding area. Prolonged exposure should involve the use of a face mask as airborne dust may cause irritation to the eyes, nose and upper respiratory tract. Spillage on floors and stairways may present a safety hazard. MSDS sheets are available upon request.
